Just to let you know that there
will be a rally on the Capitol steps and Capitol mall Monday from 12 until
6pm.
There is an agenda and speakers
all lined up to continue the effort to kill Senate Bill 2 and it's by-product HB
2007 "domestic partnerships". Faith communities are rallying so please
contact your family and friends to attend this historic event. Let's pray that
the legislators will open their eyes and vote NO on SB
2.
The vote was scheduled first
for Thursday, then Friday, now Monday, April 16th....the legislature IS
listening. They weren't ready for the sleeping giant of morality to
awaken.
This rally is being coordinated by
a family who felt the Call to do something. If you thought last Monday's
rally was something, or missed it, bring the kids and let them experience what
it means to live in a free country, before it's too
late.
A new coalition of faith
communities is being put together by the Lord, it is an incredible thing to
see. Come and be part of this, it is truly happening. Catholic,
Protestant, Muslim......unbelievable.
Thanks to the recent Oregonian
article regarding Planned Parenthood's effort to build an abortion site in the
heart of a black community on Martin Luther King Jr, Blvd., a pro-abortion
advocate resigned from the Board of Directors of Catholic
Charities. After many emails and phone calls
from concerned Catholics seeing her name and abortion affiliation,
Dennis
Keenan, Executive Director of Catholic Charities
accepted the resignation of Portland Development
Commissioner Bertha
Ferran.
There is an ethics code and they
should have known Bertha's pro-abortion position, an interview should have
eliminated her in the first place. Catholic Charities contact information

vigilant.
