WILL ANSWER CHALLENGE TO MARY STARRETT NOMINATION

Scappoose, OR – On Monday, August 28, 2006 at 1:30 p.m., CONSTITUTION PARTY officers will submit documentation at the office of Secretary of State showing that the nomination of Mary Starrett for Governor is in compliance with Oregon election law.

According to Bob Ekstrom, party chairman, "The effort to remove Mary Starrett from the governor ballot has nothing to do with reverence for state law and everything to do with a political opponent who has decided that success can only be achieved by taking choices away from the voters."
