"A moderate by definition is one of three things; somebody who sits around and waits for a majority to form and then joins it, a conservative who is pro-choice, or a liberal."

- Another Liberal Newspaper Editor Praises Saxton for Parting With GOP Supporters of Tax Limit Initiative. Liberal newspapers always called RINOs "principled" when they act like Democrats. Implies it doesn't matter the measure got on the ballot with more than required number of signatures because there was out of state money spent. (Albany-Democrat)
Isn't it a crock that the so-called "one-issue candidate" is THE ONE gubernatorial candidate who supports Don McIntire's M-48. But, Saxton can now give ALL his primary supporters, and endorsers, the middle digit, because HA! Where else are they going to go?
No more support of the GOP immigration policies, no more anti-tax platform and pro-abortion. Yet he got the primary endorsement from all four organizations deemed conservative on these issues. So, should anyone pay attention to any of their endorsements in the future?
- Sen. Wyden Wants To Craft a Legacy -- Flat Tax Reform. Overhauling federal tax code. Chicao Sun-Times' Ed Feulner hawks for supporting Wyden. "But if Wyden abandons class-warfare politics and fights for the right sort of reform, he could have a chance to join the political immortals."
- Wasco Co. GOP Chair, Lehman, Authored Resolutions On Immigration. Another resolution authored by Lehman has drawn national attention. It would deny citizenship to the U.S. born children of undocumented immigrants, who in 2002 accounted for roughly 10 percent of all Oregon births. Saxton has distanced himself from the OR GOP policy.

| I do think it's mentioned this long national nightmare for the Cubans wouldn't have happened at all if not for a typically incompetent Democratic mission under Kennedy when he withdrew air cover from the Cubans during the Bay of Pigs at the last minute. He shouldn't have let them go in at all if he was going to withdraw air cover. It's just a typical incompetent Democrat move and we could have had him out 40 years ago. -- Ann Coulter 8/1/06 On the John Gibson Show, Fox TV |

- Yippee. Another RINO Betraying Their Own. Statesman Journal Wants Others To Unite With RINOs Saxton, Smith Against M-48.
Isn't it a crock that the so-called "one-issue candidate" is THE ONE gubernatorial candidate who supports Don McIntire's M-48. But, Saxton can now give his primary supporters, and endorsers, the middle digit, because HA! Where else are they going to go? Especially when it means they'd have to admit they were responsible for getting Oregonians and conservatives stuck with a phony Republican who has had the gall to refer to himself as a "Reagan Republican."
