"A moderate by definition is one of three things; somebody who sits around and waits for a majority to form and then joins it, a conservative who is pro-choice, or a liberal."
-- Rush Limbaugh, June 5, 2001

- Well Don Ron.
-
Saxton Won't Support Anti-Tax Measure On Ballot By Group That Endorsed Him In Primary. [Don McIntire, as well as Jim Ludwick of the Oregonians for Immigration Reform, was warned about Saxton. So was Lars. Try to remind them now and you won't be treated very nicely. All they can do is to repeatedly cite the tired RINO call to unity: "Where else are you going to go?" No apologies from any of them for sticking conservatives with a phony. Just accusations that who ever doesn't support Saxton is not a conservative. How many people are fooled by this bullying bluster?
What is their excuse for ignoring that there was never one single solitary thing in Saxton's past to support any claim he made to be supportive of fighting tax hikes? What is their excuse for ignoring no evidence of Saxton's being against illegal immigration except his motor-mouth parroting Lars? They have no excuse and they know it. That's why Lars is being so unfriendly to callers who can't bring themselves to vote for Saxton.
There is nothing wrong with being wrong once in a while. But, when one attempts to cover for it by slamming those who were too smart to go along with you, credibility goes out the window.]
- Looking for These Ron?

According to Salem-News.com Bi-Sexual Kate Brown Is Earmarking the Next Session to Protect Children. [Well now, there's a switch. This is the woman who held up Oregon's version of Jessica's law while she focused on bullying people over SB-1000 (same-sex marriage under the guise of "civil unions". Would Brown have allowed Oregon's version of Jessica's law to pass during the special session if Republicans, like Jason Atkinson, and national figures like Bill O'Reilly, hadn't focused on the child protection campaign and Brown's failure to do what was right?
Just as repulsive was her fellow legislator, sexual abuse victim, and personal friend, Vicki Walker who covered for Brown, and fellow liberals, by exploiting her personal experiences of abuse on the floor of the Senate. Where was Walker's deep concern, that Jessica's law pass, during the regular session? What was the "technically" Brown alluded to that just couldn't be resolved until the special session? The pretense that either one of these women considered child protection laws a priorty, rather than same-sex rights, was transparent.
Walker temporarily gained some credibility speaking out as a past sexual abuse victim during the Goldschmidt scandal. She lost that credibility when she used her gained credibility to bail out fellow Democrats after they had so obviously refused to treat protecting children as the priority it was during the regular session.]

| I do think it's mentioned this long national nightmare for the Cubans wouldn't have happened at all if not for a typically incompetent Democratic mission under Kennedy when he withdrew air cover from the Cubans during the Bay of Pigs at the last minute. He shouldn't have let them go in at all if he was going to withdraw air cover. It's just a typical incompetent Democrat move and we could have had him out 40 years ago. -- Ann Coulter 8/1/06 On the John Gibson Show, Fox TV |
1:45 PM, Thursday, Aug. 3: Lars Larson has just said that Jason Atkinson said he was for amnesty. That is false. Jason Atkinson NEVER said he favored amnesty. He said that he was not aware that President Bush's immigration program was amnesty and that if it was he would not support it.
Larson held Atkinson accountable for not taking what he felt was the right stand on only one issue; immigration. This week Larson, John McIntire and Jim Ludwick have been making excuses for Saxton's not standing up for what is right on the very issues most important to them including immigration and reducing taxes.
Larson has no excuse for being snookered by a RINO in the primaries and he knows it. Larson and his cronies will be making excuses for Saxton from now til November. If Saxton wins they will have to make excuses for him for the next four years.
RINOs are liberals. As Rush Limbaugh reminded us today, "Liberals are liberals first." As Limbaugh has also frequently reminded listeners, the first order of business for RINOs is to kill off the conservatives in the party. The damage that will be done to the Republican Party, if Saxton is elected, isn't worth anything he may do that will be construed as Republican.
