"A moderate by definition is one of three things; somebody who sits around and waits for a majority to form and then joins it, a conservative who is pro-choice, or a liberal."

- 11:30 AM: Jonathan Sands, Great-Grandson of Winston Churchill Phones Into Rush Limbaugh. Says what a terrible newspaper the NY Times is and says that the way George Bush has handled 9/11 and the War Against Terror has been the way Churchill handled the war. He called, most particularly, in response to a criticism leveled by Wm F. Buckley criticizing Bush on handling the war and for saying that Bush will have "no legacy." Sands Disagrees and believes Bush will have a great legacy regarding how he had responded to 9/11.
Sands compared the media and the liberals to the Chamberlain groups who kept harping on outdated diplomacy instead of taking a stand and defending Britain. He said Churchill correctly stood up to Chamberlain and said, "Look, this is what government is supposed to do." He said that George Bush has correctly done what he knows is right and best for his country. George Bush did what Clinton should have done he said.
He called Bush an honest and decent man.
Rush told Sands that it was "heartening" for him to hear. Rush watchers can most likely expect an audio clip of the call to be posted on the web site by the end of the day.
- John Kerry On Rush Limbaugh and Israel. "Rush Limbaugh s ignorance and willingness to divide Americans knows no bounds." "Rush Limbaugh needs to pick up a history book instead of a doughnut," Kerry added. "It was a Democratic president who first recognized the State of Israel. It was a Democratic president who..." [Oh brother! Kerry not only is already running for president, he thinks he's got to beat Rush to win. Who'd ever think the Democrats would feel compelled to prove they are better friends to Israel than the (Hillary-Kissing/hugging Mrs. Arafat) Democrats? Monday's Rush show has GOT to be good. Poor Kerry will probably wish he'd never opened his mouth.]
