"A moderate by definition is one of three things; somebody who sits around and waits for a majority to form and then joins it, a conservative who is pro-choice, or a liberal."
-- Rush Limbaugh, June 5, 2001

- Register Guard On Sen. Smith's Filibuster. "Instead of an all-night marathon, Smith got less than three hours in which he and Oregon Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden spoke passionately and effectively about the federal government's obligation to rural timber counties - and the dire impacts of cutting off federal funding." [Yup. The same old two Oregon liberal peas in a pod. But, it won't win syrupy Smith the liberal vote.] "After timber harvests dried up in the 1980s..." [Timber harvest didn't merely dry up. They were gouged out of existence with fake environmental emergencies, scientific myths & socialist politicians. The harvest has remained plentiful and easily manageable.]

Smith, AGAIN, cites the loss of his son as a reason to push this liberal legislation. You are heartless if you don't like it. Got that?]

Monday night in Eugene: Dick Morris wowed his GOP audience of more than 400 at the annual Lincoln Day Dinner of the Lane County Republicans.
"Bill lies about sex, Hillary lies about everything." Morris is helping produce a 90 minute film on Hillary which documents the lies & contradictions. It's scheduled to hit theaters in September. For info on how YOU can help produce this film go to:
Citizens United
Morris also told Republicans that each of them can help fight the war against terrorism. He told them to refuse to invest in stock companies who invest with and deal with terrorists. Weakening terrorists financially could prevent further wars. To learn which funds are anti-terror go to Disinvestterror.org
Master of Ceremonies, Jack Roberts, gave the same old speech he's given before, telling GOPers to stop being concerned about voting for "real Republicans." "I'm not sure who the real Republicans are, but while we were arguing who was a real Republican Democrats were being elected," he said.
He is correct. Pro-abortion Roberts does not know what a real Republican is. Oregon Conservatives have known that for a long time. In Roberts' closed RINO world, it is the real Republicans who are causing GOP candidates to lose. Roberts hasn't caught on yet to the reality that it is because of fake Republicans that GOP candidates are losing and GOP voters are too discouraged to vote for, or campaign for, RINOs anymore. |

- [LIBERAL] COALITION PUSHES TO ADD MORE HEALTH CLINICS AT AREA SCHOOLS. [These pro-government hawks want to take over children's health care even when the parents have medical insurance. What's the real goal here? Is it really to help the children or to remove the family unit from being the primary source of nurturing and guidance? Let the government rear your kids. How many more condoms will be handed out and how many abortions will be recommended without parental knowledge by these clinics?](Oregonian)
