I caught the Flu in January. It was not as bad as the year before, but bad enough.

I caught the Flu again in February. It was not as bad as the year before, but bad enough.

And, as the year before the previous October I obtained a shot of Flu Vaccine. Yes I know, the Vaccine protected me from the Flu I didn't catch, right!

I gotta get into the Biz of Manufacturing Flu Vaccine. Mine won't even require any injections.

Mine will be so user friendly it look, smell and taste exactly like LifeSavers Candy and you will have a choice of several flavors.

For some strange reason, when watching Cable news coverage of the Atlanta Courthouse killings and resulting Man Hunt, I keep expecting at any moment to see Chief Moose conducting a news conference on what they haven't learned yet.

I can only guess this results from them reporting a continual chain of Chucky Moose like Blunders.

Not to be outdone by Costco's "Spanish Labeling" a family member brought me this souvenir found at one of Seattle's Better Hotels.

"Booma Corna"

It seems this was found a bit distressing. I suspect the Coffee was in Engrish.

Our greed is showing.

We in the United States are greedy in luring citizens of Mexico away with promise of free housing, free health care and free educations for their children as that is depriving Mexico of the positive contributions those same people could be making by driving changes in their much troubled homeland. We are draining their power base.

The US and Mexico would be better served if we helped Mexicans help themselves in creating a successful Democracy in which they would prefer to remain, rather than escaping to become subservient to those in a foreign land.

Let us do for our Neighbors in Mexico what we have done for our distant friends of Iraq, as the instability in Mexico is now a much closer and a more imminent endangerment to our way of life.

Almost 2,000 people line up at a mobile Mexican Consulate in Salem They were seeking assistance in finding a job, a place to live and securing a driver's license. http://159.54.226.83/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050306/NEWS/503060325/1001/NEWS">   (news link no longer connects).

Offering something FREE will always Bring a Crowd! They came seeking FREE access to our hard earned Tax dollars that we expected were to pay for Our Police, Our Roads and Educations for Our Children and Our Grandchildren.

The reason Mexicans don't stay in Mexico and struggle to make Mexico better is that we offer everything here FREE. That only worsens the problems in their homeland.

Lets start helping Mexicans save Mexico!

Saturday, March 5, 2005 -- Is There a Pattern Here?

Today, everything is about Relationships!

Lets look at some.

3/5/05 Salem, Oregon

Marion County's unemployment count increased in January 2005 to 7.5% from 6.9% in December 2004.

Marion County has lost its only Hi-tech manufacturer of national ranking with their permanently closing two large facilities. We don't need to ask why they left Oregon, do we?

Marion County has lost much of its Lo-Tech manufacturing with the permanent closing of several large agricultural canneries. We don't need to ask why they left Oregon, do we?

Marion County ranks among the highest in Greenhouse farming and production of ornamental and landscape shrubbery all of which has created a huge demand for low-skilled and simple stoop labor.

Marion County is considered by many as having the one of highest populations of Illegal Aliens however there is no method to confirm (or deny) that as fact.

Marion County scores among the highest nationwide in use of Meth and the user group includes a large number of lower-skilled
non- Hispanics who now find themselves among the growing number of unemployed.

Marion County now enjoys a level of Crime and Violence as never seen before and the rate of increase exceeds the population growth many times over.

Are there any Relationships here?

So why is it that all the businesses that claim "Being Sensitive to My Needs" choose to subject me to On Hold music which I don't enjoy.

It seems to me that if they were truly committed to being Warm and Fuzzy they would gauge my vocal response to the message of them "Recording my call to insure Quality" and then play music that fits that mood.

Perhaps some "Rage Filled Hard Rock" might be appropriate?

In 1973 and the peak of our First Energy Crisis, ODOT saw fit to install numerous 100' Freeway light towers at the intersection of Hwy 26 and I-217. These resulted in illuminating my property over a half-mile away as if it was a Football Field and then ODOT allowed the lights to burn . . . 24 hours a day.

At the time ODOT explained how the agreement with PGE allowed them a better rate if the Use was Un-interrupted. That was offered to my suggestion the lighting level be regulated to need resulting from conditions at the time.

After many months of protest by those who were being spot-lighted ODOT choose to install shields that helped reduce the intrusions.

That lighting effort reduced the value of our property and Now ODOT wants to study the Impact of Light Pollution? They are mad!

Now, ain't that just real nice of us? How many Criminal Illegals could we send back with that $85 Large?

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador - It's a sweltering day in San Salvador and sweat beads on Freddy Monterosa's face, but he keeps his long-sleeved shirt on. He doesn't want police to see his gang tattoos.

As Central American officials fight increasingly violent gangs, many current and former members are responding by hiding their tattooed insignia, getting rid of them or discouraging recruits from getting visible body art.

The
U.S. Embassy here even gave a local program $85,000 for a laser tattoo-removal machine.

Greenspan urges action on programs

I listened to much of what Greenspan said today and find only a few of his points being reported in the news this evening. Amazing!

Today, he explained to House members how our education system is failing in delivering a product that will enable the US to sustain our position in the World. At the 4th grade level our kids are equal but fall well short of the mark by the 12 grade.

He made it quite plain that we are falling behind every day and we are not doing anything to correct the circumstance.

And, he explained our greatest population growth is in low and un- skilled workers and that is causing a major gap in the earning groups.

He also told how in the future the Federal government could have access to Social Security funds and would be less likely able to tap into private retirement savings accounts.

One point he repeated again and again was that the US Government has made many commitments that it will not be able to fulfill and Social Security is one that is absolutely unsustainable, period.
